Release new build for Visual StyleCop

description

Could you release new build for https://github.com/Visual-Stylecop/Visual-StyleCop?
It's stylecop updated to support C# 6.0.

For everyone: if you cannot wait for new build - just download StyleCopPlus source code from github and rebuild against Visual StyleCop binaries. No code changes required.

Can you please share more details about Visual StyleCop (you're the author right?)
Can it be installed from Visual Studio extension gallery? Where is the root settings file stored then?

If you want me just to rebuild StyleCop+ against your StyleCop.dll version - I think I could do that sometime (being very busy with my job). Just would be glad if you could explain a little bit more what exactly is needed.

Thanks!

Nope, I'm not the author of it.
Yes, it is shipped as extension: https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/cac2a05b-6eb6-4fa2-95b9-1f8d011e6cae
if you are talking about Settings.StyleCop file, then I didn't noticed any changes in settings file placement - it merge settings from current folder with settings in parent folders.

All I did is replaced references to old style cop assemblies to the same assemblies from VisualStyleCop and built it and then copied to VisualStyleCop extension folder.

There are only two issues I noticed till now:
  1. http://stylecopplus.codeplex.com/workitem/11022
  2. Something broken with reporting the same rule enabled in StyleCop and StyleCop+. Now it doesn't report it to errors pane and just fail analysis.
